AVIATION CLEAN AIR
WE FIX THIS!
Aviation Clean Air (ACA) is a partnership between several well-established, seasoned entites. Collectively, the ACA management team has decades of experience in the aviation industry and environmental purification field. ACA offers the only proactive system that immediately improves improves interior air quality, eliminates odors and kills pathogens in the air and on surfaces wherever they live throughout the cabin and cockpit of the aircraft.
After the company was formed, ACA began working on the development and design necessary for aviation use and undertook testing of the system to ensure it met DO-160 standards. The DO-160 for Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment set by the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) is considered the standard for environmental testing of avionics hardware. The ACA Component has been extensively tested in the field and today meets and/or exceeds the requirements of the RCTA DO-160. ACA’s patented Airborne Unit, which is certified for aircraft installation by FAA Supplemental Type Certification (STC), provides constant decontamination of the aircraft interior, keeping passengers and crew protected throughout the flight. The proactive system operates through the aircraft’s existing environmental control system (ECS), and immediately kills pathogens in the air and on surfaces. |
The patented NPBI™ Ionization technology that powers ACA’s unts immediately:
ACA has Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) for the system and is an Approved Supplier to several OEM aircraft manufacturers. ACA holds the Patent for Design and Utility: for the Aircraft Proactive Air and Surface Purification Component from the U.S. Patent Office. In March 2020, ACA partnered with International Aero Engineering (IAE) to offer its Ionization Purification System as a Portable Ground Unit. The unit utilizes the same tested, proven technology as ACA’s patented airborne system to effectively clean and purify aircraft interiors while on the ground. The electric-powered ionization and air blower unit (110V or 220V) decontaminates the interior in one to two hours, depending on aircraft size. A smaller unit, the Mini Ground Unit, is also available. The company recently introduced a large capacity unit, suitable for warehouses, hangars and other large venues. Aviation Clean Air’s main facility is located adjacent to the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Savannah, Georgia. A secondary facility is located near Los Angeles, CA. |
